When you imagine yourself on a tropical beach in the morning, you expect to hear the waves and nothing else. Nothing could be further from the truth. Plenty of animals (humans not excluded) try to make your wakeup time as animated as possible.
Noise and screams are everywhere.
Just listen to this early morning recording of a beach in the Dominican Republic:
Every time I listen to it, it reminds me of that warm morning. I reduced the sound of the waves a little as it might sound like an approaching freight train. The noise in the background comes from the waves. The birds? Well, they’re in those palm trees, well out of sight.
